Peter Baum, a researcher in the Foundations of Mathematics and Artificial Intelligence currently working at Aesir Research, wrote a very thorough and critical review of the Preliminary Assessment on Unidentified Aerial Phenomena submitted to the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) by the Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force (UAPTF).
On 25 June 2021, the ODNI released the much-awaited preliminary report to the public, a document that created significant controversy due to its lack of substance and depth. In addition to the limited number of pages, Mr. Baum found a number of deficiencies and inconsistencies in the language of the report, a possible indication of a deliberate attempt by the submitting agency to obfuscate and omit any useful information about the nature and origin of UFOs. We are embedding Peter Baum's entire assessment document on this thread for your viewing convenience.
