In the United Kingdom, the slow but steady disclosure of the UFO subject is by all accounts similar to a dripping faucet that continues to leak at its own leisure. The U.K.'s Ministry of Defense (MoD) method of spreading the huge amount of formerly classified information over intermittent spans of time, guarantees that the public will often find an interesting piece of UFO data after what usually amounts to decades of trivia drops.

Several years ago, one of these interesting nuggets of disclosure was found in The National Archives UFO Portal. A document uncovered by researchers, describes allegations made to the MoD by the grandson of a World War Two RAF pilot regarding Britain’s Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill's effort to silence his grandfather from revealing a 'UFO' encounter he experienced during the war. Churchill, fearing that revelations of such nature could irreversibly damage the Christian Faith and lead to mass hysteria, issued an order to silence RAF pilots from publicly talking about the subject for at least fifty years.

Notwithstanding this revelation, it is commonly known that Churchill was very interested in the UFO phenomenon and made official inquiries into it to establish if they posed any threat to the war effort. Thanks to this letter the grandson (whose identity is kept anonymous in the released file) of the WW2 pilot wrote to the Ministry of Defense, we now get an additional glimpse into how this enigma was handled under Churchill's stern leadership.

They were seen on both sides of the war theater. Richard Dolan made a video about the foo fighters in the Pacific. They used to buzz the Navy ships that were on their way to the Pacific islands.

I remember a brilliant interview with Gordon Cooper where he talks about a ufo landing at a desert base he was at, but he also mentions Foo Fighters he saw in the Korean war,
