During a 2019 press conference, a journalist questioned a government panel about the state of ufology in Germany.
The reporter in question was apparently operating under the assumption that German state officials were fully informed about the 2017 UAP developments occurring in the United States and abroad, but he was in for a rude awakening.
After giving a long-winded preamble to his question, he was informed that the German government was not aware of the Pentagon's UFO program or that it had any interest in the subject. Taken aback by the reply, the journalist went on to press the official for information about the existence of UFO files in Teutonics hands, which was also shut down with a vague denial.
