BREAKING: Next week, on May 17th, 2022, a House subcommittee for intelligence will hold public hearings on the issue of unidentified aerial phenomena. The hearing comes after a preliminary UAP report from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence released back in June of last year, failed to identify the origin of more than 144 unexplained objects captured on classified military electronic systems.

The hearing will feature two notable members of the Pentagon who are tasked with evaluating whether the phenomenon represents a threat to national security and a flight-safety issue in both the civilian and military sectors. "Since this is an area of high public interest, any undue secrecy can serve as an obstacle to solving the mystery, or it could prevent us from finding solutions to potential vulnerabilities," said Representative André Carson, Democrat of Indiana and the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee’s subcommittee on counterterrorism, counterintelligence, and counterproliferation.

Congressman Carson has taken the initiative to spearhead Tuesday's proceeding in the hope of conveying the sense of seriousness this enduring mystery deserves. "This hearing is about examining steps that the Pentagon can take to reduce the stigma surrounding reporting by military pilots, and by civilian pilots." Ronald Moultry, the under secretary of defense for intelligence and security, and Scott W. Bray, deputy director of naval intelligence, will be the top officials scheduled to appear before the House panel.
