A mysterious luminous object, reportedly appearing in various locations across Washington State, was sighted last night in the busy port city of Tacoma, causing the local traffic to come to a standstill. This time, however, a saucer-shaped craft was not seen in the sky, but actually landed and surrounded by a group of unidentified agents in hazmat suits carrying all manner of scientific equipment.

By the time the local news arrived to the location, the object was already cordoned off with yellow caution tape, and a menacing warning sign in front of it cautioned onlookers to maintain a safe distance from the craft. A nearby trailer, rumored to belong to what appeared to be a UFO crash and retrieval rapid response team, was already positioned on the location to begin the transport operation.

Some of the locals residents, justifiably concerned for their safety, made their way to the intersection of North Stevens and North 39th streets to make some inquiries to the authorities, who quickly notified them that there was no cause for alarm. As it tuned out, the technicolor alien craft is part of a street exhibit sponsored by a group of artists who call themselves "The Guild of Independent Tacoma Scientists." The 'space orb', as the group refers to their creation, has been on tour since late August much to the surprise and later delight of locals who are fortunate enough to view it on display in public properties across the state.

Which would also account for its relatively erratic behaviour, ballons tend to be a bit erratic.
