Washington appears to be leaking like a sieve. The flow of information about the UFO phenomenon has reached a saturation level never seen before. Last evening, the Fox television network broadcasted a TMZ special about the recent developments in the ongoing government UAP Task Force investigation. The program, which featured the most prominent personalities in the push for disclosure, also released new footage concerning the USS Omaha's encounter with unknown aerial craft. Although the new evidence being presented is regarded by many as tenuous at best, it is undeniable that a change in how the subject is treated by the government and the media is palpable.

Rather than let the dust settle, UFO researchers are stoking the flames of disclosure with new information provided by insiders that prefer to keep their anonymity for the time being. Such a piece of information came to light...

The popular online tabloid newspaper Thirthy-mile Zone (TMZ), will air a one-hour special dedicated to UFOs later today. Harvey Levin, TMZ's managing editor, has been making the rounds on national news promoting the investigative documentary that promises to deliver never-before-seen footage of UFOs taken from the deck of a US Navy vessel, as well as an exclusive deep dive with the personnel who witness it firsthand.

“The Pentagon’s report will be as important for what it doesn’t answer as what it does,” Levin said. “The show is a process of elimination of sorts, taking theories off the table and seeing what we’re left with will undoubtedly be pretty amazing.”

In addition to the UFO video, the program will analyze the U.S. government's official response to UFO conversations by conducting interviews with senators, military pilots, a renowned Harvard scientist, former Pentagon...

A new facility dedicated to the study of UFOs just opened its doors in Japan. The International UFO Lab, which boast itself of being the nation's only civilian research institute for unidentified flying objects, was inaugurated on June 24.

Takeharu Mikami, who happens to be the editor-in-chief of the popular Nipponese mystery magazine Mu, was appointed the institute's director. During a press conference, Director Mikami unveiled his vision for the lab stating that, "Until now, even if UFOs were sighted, the information was shared only on an individual level. I hope the research lab will serve as a base for receiving information, and lead to new discoveries. I'd like to get to the bottom of their identity."

The location of the lab was carefully chosen for its historical significance related to the UAP phenomenon. The rural town of Iino - now incorporated into the...

SETI does about-face on UFOs

The Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI) Institute is jumping into the UFO bandwagon after the ODNI confirmed that there's actually something flying in the sky worthy of their attention. Traditionally, SETI has been largely antagonistic to the idea that UFOs are anything more than misidentified prosaic objects, celestial bodies, or atmospheric phenomena. Seth Shostak, who is currently the senior astronomer for the SETI Institute, has been very critical of ufology in general and never wasted an opportunity to express his derision whenever the subject came up on media interviews and podcasts.

This change in posture regarding UFOs could position SETI on the receiving end of government grants to be allocated for UAP studies, an opportunity the private research institution - which is currently starving...

On November 14, 2004,The USS Nimitz Carrier Strike Group, which included the nuclear-powered carrier and the missile cruiser USS Princeton, were conducting a series of drills about one hundred miles southwest of San Diego, California. Unbeknown to the crew of the Navy vessel monitoring the radar station, their lives were about to change in unexpected ways.

The USS Princeton - which was equipped with a highly advanced radar - had been picking up mysterious objects for several days shortly after the exercise's commencement. Referred by The Navy as "anomalous aerial vehicles" or AAVs in order to avoid the connotation of aliens, senior radar operator Kevin Day found himself in the awkward position of having to acknowledge their presence to the Princeton's senior staff. “Watching them on the display was like watching snow fall from the sky,” recalled Mr. Day on...

Shortly after The Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) released the anticipated yet anticlimactic UFO report to the public, the Pentagon issued a statement of support (see image below) concerning the Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon task Force (UAPTF). In the document, Deputy Defense Secretary Kathleen Hicks issues a mandate instructing all Pentagon defense agencies to provide the underfunded and understaffed UAPTF more resources and support.

The historic UAPTF preliminary study released on the 25th of June, called for a more “consistent consolidation of reports from across the federal government, standardized reporting, increased collection and analysis, and a streamlined process for screening all such reports against a broad range of relevant USG data will allow for a more sophisticated analysis of UAP that...

As the world anxiously waits for Congress to drop the UAP report, we thought a review of past events that lead to where we are today in terms of disclosure, may help us understand how the process evolved over time. But first, some context.

This week, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, or ODNI, delivered the much-anticipated preliminary UAP report to Congress. The volume of work, speculated to be no more than one hundred pages in length, mostly comprises of a classified annex not expected to be disseminated for public consumption. If these rumors are correct, the general public will be provided with a brief and ambiguous analysis of the UFO situation in a dozen or so heavily redacted documents.

Before we dismay about the prospect of getting a so-called 'nothingburger', though, we should keep in mind that prodding the U.S. Government to publicly admit and...

The newest, largest, and most sophisticated aircraft carrier built in the history of the U.S. Navy underwent a massive shock test off the Florida coast. The USS Gerald R. Ford, delivered to the Navy in 2017 by defense contractor Northrop Grumman, will take its place as the leading vessel in the Atlantic fleet sometime in 2023. But before departing for its first deployment abroad, it will have to prove itself worthy of withstanding the most rigorous conditions facing a warship before it earns its place as the epitome of US naval power.

To that end, the Navy has started conducting a series of tests that will determine the strength of the ship's superstructure. Last Friday, the first test of what will be an 18-month, post-delivery trial period...

Sources close to McAfee say he predicted this would happen to him and he wanted the public to know he would never take his own life.

Spanish authorities arrested McAfee in October of last year after a US court indicted him in absentia with multiple financial crimes, all denounced by McAfee as "politically motivated."

An article posted today by Politico revealed the identity of the Pentagon's new UAP Task Force director. In the piece, Brennan McKernan was named as the second successor to Luis Elizondo, and the fourth director to take the reins of the shadowy program dedicated to study UFOs since its creation back in 2007. According to online references, Mr. McKernan is a Navy intelligence analyst and author with ample experience navigating the intricate waters of intelligence gathering, analysis, and dissemination. It should come as no surprise, then, that his identity has remained hidden from public knowledge for so long.

Las week, McKernan - and the deputy director of naval intelligence, Scott Bray - briefed members of the House Intelligence Committee and the House Armed Services Committee about UFOs in a...

The iconic space telescope responsible for giving us a glimpse of the universe since early 1990, suddenly stopped operating on June 13 of this year. Per mission control personnel, the main payload computer responsible for controlling and monitoring all the science instruments on the spacecraft went into shutdown mode without warning.

Attempts by NASA to restart the aging computer system built in the 80s failed on multiple occasions, prompting the space agency to switch to a telescope redundancy system, which also failed to respond.

As engineers scramble to pinpoint the cause of this catastrophic halt, system administrators are considering booting up a second backup payload computer installed in the last service mission back in 2009. In the meantime, all science instruments on the Hubble are in safe mode until the computer issues are dealt with.

Although NASA is confident it will be able to...

London-based actress Abbie Bela shocked the world with the revelation of an interstellar romance in progress. In a recent interview with The Daily Star, the Polish native described her experience with an off-world entity seeking a close encounter of the loving kind with an earthly female.

Ms. Bela, a globe-trotting acting coach whose career has taken her all over the world and landed her many important roles in theater and television productions, one day found herself lamenting the failure of her relationships with the opposite sex on social media:

“I am sick of men from Earth. I joked online about wanting an alien to abduct me. I then started dreaming every night of a white light. One night, a voice in my dream said, ‘Wait in the usual spot’ The next evening, I sat next to my open window. As I drifted to sleep, a flying saucer appeared outside. There was a...

With the deadline fast approaching for the office of the Director of National Intelligence (DNI) to release its report on UFOs to Congress, the US Intelligence agencies in the Pentagon are scrambling to find an adequate strategy to communicate with the public about this perennial phenomenon that refuses to go away.

During a publicly held meeting with senior staff from both the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) and the National Security Agency (NSA), members of Congress questioned and instructed said agencies about the urgent necessity of sharing classified intelligence with the public and foreign allies in order to counter misinformation currently being spread by China and Russia.

The rationale behind this mandate comes after a group of high-ranking military officers made an appeal for declassification and distribution of intelligence data among the “Five Eyes” nations, which comprise of...

Showtime, an American premium television network, is jumping into the UAP bandwagon with a new docuseries set to premier on August 8 of this year. UFO, a four-part documentary produced by illustrious film director, producer, screenwriter and composer J.J Abrams, and acclaimed writer and director Glen Zipper, will examine the UFO mystery and the societal impact the phenomenon has had in shaping the current narrative taking mainstream media by storm.
According to Showtime, Abrams and Zipper's no-holds-barred approach to the subject will scrutinize "what clandestine influence the American government, lucrative private companies and the military may have in shielding the truth behind extraterrestrial phenomena to further their own agendas," and why "unsettling theories of a subject that recently reached national headlines, and has historically been the...

After a sobering and revelatory meeting conducted this Wednesday inside a sensitive compartmented information facility, or SCIF, Washington lawmakers belonging to the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence emerged with a new sense of urgency about unidentified flying objects. The classified conference, imparted by top FBI and Navy Intelligence officials, made such an impression on the honorable U.S. Representative for Tennessee's 2nd congressional district Tim Burchett, that he warned the media about a situation that seems to be beyond our control:

Clearly, something’s going on that we can’t handle. - Rep. Tim Burchett

Among those present at the classified briefing, were Representative Adam Schiff, Representative Val Demings, and Representative Patrick Maloney, who also expressed their concerns about UAP incursions into restricted military areas of...

The National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) placed 3 new satellites into orbit this week. The classified payloads made their way to space onboard a Minotaur I rocket launched from the Mid-Atlantic Regional Spaceport on Wallops Island in the State of Virginia.

The NRO, a secretive arm of the United States Intelligence Community and the Defense Department, is tasked with designing, building, launching, and operating various space assets that monitor both Earth and space for possible threats. The state-of-the-art trio of spy satellites were built by Northrop Grumman, a government contractor with ties to the Defense Department spanning decades.

Although both agencies declined to comment on the assigned duties of these new birds, experts are gathering clues from the imagery illustrated in the NROL-111 official mission patch, which features a winged wild boar in full aviator attire and a motto that...

A developing story first reported by Hawaii News Now - followed up by Tyler Rogoway of The War Zone - has the markings of a possible UFO event over the airspace of the tropical islands.

On the afternoon hours of Sunday, June 13, the FAA in Honolulu contacted Hickam Air Force Base to request air support for what many rumor to be a possible airliner in distress. At around 4:00 PM local time, two F-22s from the 199th Fighter Squadron were scrambled on an intercept course that apparently required additional fuel and firepower. According to sources, about an hour or so after the first two jets took off, another fully-armed F-22, and a FKC-135 refueling...

The business magnate plans to exit our planet on July 20th of this year in New Shepard, a rocket ship made by his space company, Blue Origin. Bezos is taking along his younger brother on what he calls "the greatest adventure" of his lifetime.

Although the trip to the edge of low-earth orbit is set to last no more than eleven minutes, the maiden flight will serve to boost confidence in the nascent aerospace technology Blue Origin is actively developing. The capsule - which is expected to reach an altitude of roughly sixty miles before beginning its re-entry - will seat another four, yet-to be-named passengers who will accompany Jeff and his brother Mark on the space expedition.

Bezos, a self-made billionaire and founder of Amazon, is trying to position himself as a top contender in the private space race ignited by Elon Musk. Earlier this year, Bezos' Blue Origin lost the opportunity to...

Contrary to popular belief, UFOs are not a U.S. phenomena only. Those who immerse themselves in the subject, are likely to possess a mental compendium of UFO sightings and close encounters spanning the entire planet. It should come as no surprise, then, that earlier today, we learned that The People's Republic of China is facing the same troubling scenario with unidentified flying objects as the United States. According to the government-controlled news agency, South China Morning Post, the Chinese armed forces have a dedicated system in place to monitor UFO activities occurring over their airspace.

The American counterpart UFO program reportedly consists of a "three-tiered system that relies on reports from military radar stations, air force pilots, police stations, weather stations, and Chinese Academy of Sciences observatories to gather as much data as possible...
