The Air Force's tumultuous relationship with UFOs continues. This week, Frank Kendall, the 26th Secretary of the Air Force, went on CBS Mornings to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the august military branch. Among the topics of discussion brought up by the hosts was the issue of UFOs and whether they were a cause for concern. As soon as he heard the word UFO, Secretary Kendall burst into laughter and proceeded to diminish the significance of unidentified objects as nothing more than an oddity worth looking into but not losing sleep over.

This is the second time Secretary Kendall has dismissed UFOs during a public appearance. His personal position on the issue is that there are more urgent matters the Air Force is currently facing, and UFOs are not one of them. When asked about his concerns as Secretary of the Air Force, Mr. Kendall emphatically said China was at the top of his list. According to Secretary Kendall, China is now in a position to challenge the supremacy of the United States as the global superpower - aliens intruding into our airspace and disabling our nuclear strike capabilities notwithstanding.
