BREAKING: The US military took bellicose action against a "drifting," metallic-like, unidentified flying object on Friday afternoon after it intruded into controlled airspace. The decision to attack the UAP came at the behest of President Biden, who feared the "high-altitude object" could pose a threat to aviation safety.
During a press conference, National Security Council official John Kirby stated that "The object was flying at an altitude of 40,000 feet and posed a reasonable threat to the safety of civilian flight."
The unidentified object was described as car-sized and different in shape from the spy balloon brought down last Saturday. Although it is unknown whether this new mystery interloper is China-based, officials are saying the object was tracked for a period of twenty-four hours to determine whether it was unmanned before it was fired upon.
