A series of photographs depicting what appears to be a crystal-clear, genuine flying saucer are going viral. The extraordinary sighting took place in the Valle Hermoso Municipality in the northeastern part of the Mexican state of Tamaulipas. According to many witnesses present during the event, a large, round silver UFO emerged out of a menacing thunderstorm cloud approaching the region and lingered in the sky before shooting out into space at an incredible speed.
Luckily, automotive technician Juan Manuel Sanchez - a local resident in the right spot at the right time - managed to snap a few photographs of the unidentified craft with his mobile phone. Mr. Sanchez, who went on to describe the close encounter on Mexico's national news, claims the UFO was approximately fifty feet across and no more than half a mile away from his residence.
'I was in shock," Mr. Sanchez told Mexican news outlets. "It wasn't fear, but something like astonishment," said he when describing his state of mind as the strange object came into view. Unfortunately, Mr. Sanchez's cellphone camera was in picture mode rather than video. Fearing the object would soon vanish, he proceeded to take as many photos as he could in order to document the cosmic interloper.
