It was announced beforehand. The people marching to the building were obviously way in excess of any peaceable protest. And everyone knew the nature of the people who were approaching.
The delay in the additional police arriving was scandalous.

I foresee a wall will be built around the Capitol Building in much less time than it has taken for Trump's Border wall.

I'm having some debates on Twitter regarding the Jan 6th Capital attack. Empire Files (channel) also is doing a piece "Inside Job", so we know there were some members of the security police who either active or sympathetic to the attack, who (we see on video) let them in. Just a few. Trump supporters will point just at these as those responsible, shifting all blame away from Trump. They also claim the stalling of the National Guard was Pentagon related chain of command.

Their deflection knows no bounds.

But the big issues with Trump are several:
1) spreading unhinged from reality allegation the election was stolen (along with Mr MyPillow), providing the fuel

2) vocally promoting the Jan 6th event effectively inciting the attempted insurrection (flaming the fire)

3) knowing fully well how much of a threat this was long before the day, failing to put the National Guard troops in as extra support prior to the day (as he did to the BLM protesters earlier). Preventing the fire from spreading and putting down immediately.

Since we know the psychology of Trump, he may have just wanted to see how people die for him. Absolutely sick and tragic (5 deaths).

Trump's impeachment should be an swift case. If it's not going through, than it means any Potus can do anything, and the impeachment process means nothing with no accountability and credibility. Republicans will deem a blowjob bigger grounds for impeachment than inciting an insurrection.

I heard that on the news. Simply incredible .Here's a man who clearly has denigrated him before and said Drumpf was responsble for causing the riot and that the Senators and others should vote their conscience and now he says that.
These Republicans have no shame and it makes no sense in McConnell since he's so old he'll either die or retire soon anyway. Why would he even care about Drumpf?
I don't want to act hyperbolic but this whole thing reminds one of early Nazi Germany when the tyrants took over and 'elected' Hitler.

How do keep track of every variation and why is thereca need for such division.
Your country seems to have so much division. Whats a Nationalist right wing compared to Nationalist left wing. Conservative. Progressive progressive left, peoples front of judea... It seems from the outside that for example you and i agree on 99 policies but differ on policy 100, so yku add another word to my political disposition and we are suddenly enemies becase of one policy. It just feels crazy and divisive. But as i have pointed out i really have no understanding of your political system.

Allow me to edify the actual problem as I see things in the US, in my opinion.

Most conservative...eg., the Americans, (Brown, Yellow, White, and Black) who endorse, embrace and who have fought for American ideals, believe that the Black Americans are the problem. This is not true, Black Americans, in my opinion are being manipulated and used by powerfull, hidden, from public view, strategists, to obfuscate a communist revolution process that is being executed in America, in my opinion. The ignorant are always victums.

The US was created by European American immigrants. Mainly caucasian. The social division problem manifesting in America is a quasi-political/racial one perpetrated by greed, lust for power and communists. The democratic party is the free-meal providers, and have been using the illegal foreign national Hispanic 'dreamer' immigrants since 1960 to gain additional votes for their party, by granting amnesty to the illegal-foreign-national Hispanic 'immigrants'. These 'dreamers' are drawn to immigrate to the US for the free-meal. The 'free-meal' is comprised of free housing, free education, free medical, monthly monetary distributions and literally free-meals, while paying little or no taxes as they are within the income poverty level. As many of those uneducated immigrants are from under-developed industrial, third world countries, they mainly exhibit little or no technical skills, and are essentially unemployable in most of the available US industries. Those 'immigrants' however, are taking ALL of the low paying jobs, such as gardening, house cleaning, ditch digging, cashiers, stock room workers, truck driving, taxis cab drivers, produce picking, the job list is huge; all of which jobs at one time were performed by generally young Black and White Americans. Local city and state democratic party governments, created 'Equal Opportunity' and 'Quota' employment policies, which specifically hire unskilled, uneducated 'minority' races. Now when one visits a city government agency for some task, the agent behind the counter is virtually always a person of color. American government is filling up with un-American thinkers.

All of the southern border immigrants are from either socialist and-or out-right communist countries, which are woefully impoverished, replete with tribal gang violence, viciously corrupt governments, while are the source of significant drug production and drug distribution within the US. Those people are bringing their ways of life to the US in huge out of control, unregulated, immigration populations. Canada, has something akin to 100 illegal foreign nationals inside their country, --their authorities are searching for them. In California, it is believed that there are 4 million illegal foreign national Hispanics. Those people are not coming to the US to become culturally American, but simply for the free-meal, while others see Americans as being ripe for robbing and drug distribution. Addict the population. Hispanic gang members refer to American automobiles as "chocolates", as our cars are so easy to steal and transport into Mexico to sell.

According the latest census, which the democratic party was very resistant to allow to be taken, 34% of the US Population is Hispanic, of which 17% are amnesty-citizens, while most of the remainder are the offspring of the amnesty-citizen Hispanic illegal-foreign-nationals that were granted citizenship by the democratic party. As Hispanics are all the Catholic religion which does not condone birth-control, they also spawn huge families. It is not uncommon for a typical Hispanic family to be comprised of 9, 10, 12 children. Most of which are supported by democratic party government welfare.

The so-called "sanctuary states", (in one of which I reside) there are now 17, are states where the population is mainly Hispanic and the local governments have been infiltrated with Hispanics, many of who are amnesty-citizens, who do not think American, but rather socialist, which effectively closes the control loop for promoting communism, through the free-meal voting strategy. No immigration control, no immigration enforcement, no immigration deportations, and in many cases, the violent Hispanic gang members are being released without bail after committing their ongoing crimes, while the police departments are being defunded, by democratic party elected officials. All of those sanctuary states are called the blue-states, are democratic states, the free-meal states, are becoming communist states. It is in the blue states where the black and Hispanic crimes, the gun murders, the robberies, the rapes, the business burnings, the out of control Black-Lives-Matter thugs, druggers, eg., all the criminals are running amuck.

The social division problem in America is that of the communista people of color. They are working to overthrow the safe, sane, abundant, peaceful American way of life. They can't beat us militarially, or financially, but they are successfully creating significant problems socially and the US is becoming a communist nation. So it won't be very long before we are caught up in a world war, in which the US will lose. If we fall, where will there be anywhere that is safe to run to?

United we stand, divided we fall.
