If you are printing your own, as opposed to borrowing it from elsewhere, do you have to pay it back to the Fed ?

Uh...politicians , and govts, have been morally bankrupt for a very very long time...where have you been?A government is morally bankrupt when they spend billions in a totally unnecessary space force yet keep their citizens without universal healthcare or stimulus checks to pay for AB's hosting.

Social Security started in 1935...many forget that...or simply don't know that. Medicare/medicaid in 1965.
They should have made health care universal via our taxes a long time ago but again conservative politicians on both sides didn't want it for political/economic and business reasons. There has always been this self reliant American made mentality from the founding of this country that has fought against these type of programs. I get it....but that was then and this is now.
Time for a major change, and I think Harris and her people will push for it and Biden will cave in eventually. If they can get around the GOP and conservatives then things will change dramatically over the next 4 years imo....time will tell. This is why there is so much right wing noise the last 4 years or so. They see the writing on the wall and are afarid of this change, didn't want Clinton to get in , and voted for Trump who they saw as the 'last white hope'. The demographics are changing and things will not be the same in the near future.
